Lake Tahoe Agencies is a list of agencies working in the Lake Tahoe Basin. These agencies are inherently governmental in nature.  When you select an agency from list on the right you will get a brief overview of each agency's mission, plus links to documents they have written and projects they are managing.

It is important to note that many state, federal, and county agencies operate in the Lake Tahoe basin as field offices.  As much as possible, the TIIMS web site provides local contact information. 

You may also find "Affiliations" listed for agencies.  The affiliation links each agency with a parent department, division, or branch of their agency.  These parent offices are always located outside the Basin.  In the case of federal agencies, you may see multiple affiliations to a Regional Office and a Washington Office.
