Tahoe Integrated Information Management System

There are many projects being done in the Lake Tahoe Basin, from new building construction, to road repairs, to erosion control. The TIIMS web site provides information about projects that positively impact the environment. You will find a surprising number of projects designed and constructed toward preserving and increasing Lake Tahoe's clarity. These projects are either conducted by one agency or they are a cooperative effort with several agencies involved.

There are also several programs in place that sponsor projects to improve our environment. The biggest program is the Environmental Improvement Program or EIP. All of the projects currently listed on TIIMS are from the EIP.
